Albatros is inspired by the poem of the same name by Charles Baudelaire. In the poem (included below) Baudelaire uses the albatross as a metaphor for the dizzying heights to which poets must ascend when embarking on their craft. Mendittorosa Albatros Eau de Parfum soars in its opening thanks to expansive ozonic notes, which seem to capture the unending atmosphere of open air. Light-headed aldehydes flit and swoop with the freedom of maritime skies, while sparkling, mirage-like citrus tones of pineapple and mandarin hover just over the horizon.
