Acampora Young Hearts Extrait de Parfum is a vibrant, green galbanum scent from the brand\u2019s glittering Acampora 54 range. Created by star niche perfumer Miguel Matos, Young Hearts won the Best Perfume Prize at the 2020 Art & Olfaction Awards in the Independent Category.<\/p>\n
Dewy, fresh, green and peculiar, Young Hearts follows a different rhythm every time you spray it on. The opening is woody, refreshingly verdant and very natural with the invigorating notes of bergamot, galbanum birch and pine. A refreshing cold breeze is brought to the dancefloor by saffron, which also imparts a leathery impression. The perfume\u2019s heart elongates the forest-like fragrance of pine with fir balsam, along with a rather abstract floral arrangement. Grounding it all is a chypre accord that keeps the beat cool. Young Hearts is a vivacious partygoer with a timeless signature.<\/p>\n
Acampora Young Hearts Extrait de Parfum is inspired by Candi Staton\u2019s song of the same name. It captures an iconic moment in New York\u2019s cultural history. It is a perfumed love letter to the the decadence of the 70s with its burgeoning disco scene, drugs, alcohol and rampant sex. In Studio 54 glamorous celebrities rubbed shoulders with the avant-garde art and intellectual scene. A regular face at these events was Acampora founder, Bruna Acampora who was known for his elegant style and suave dancing. He was even immortalised in a photo series by Andy Warhol.<\/p>\n
