Gallivant\u2019s Naples (EdP) is a woody fresh incense perfume in which decadent Southern Italy invites you to promenade along the coast. Who doesn\u2019t dream of Italy? The people, the food, the fashion, the romance! These are all parts of Naples that Gallivant and the multiple award winning Italian perfumer Luca Maffei envisioned.<\/p>\n

The first impression of Gallivant Naples\u2019 opening emulates the effervescence of the Italian port city: fresh spices, ginger, pink pepper and bergamot intermingle. The perfume\u2019s sea breeze accord gently blows salty humidity, refreshing the mind. As we get lost in the narrow alleys of the city, the scent also deepens with waves of smoky incense, fumenscens and olibanum. Cardamom and nutmeg hint Naples\u2019 Eastern side, the city likes to flirt with oriental influences. The base of the perfume is very cleanly woody, just as Naples itself calms down and quietens at night. Guaiac wood, birch wood, patchouli, vetiver and amber embed romantic dreams in the elegant drydown of Naples.<\/p>\n

Gallivant Naples presents the two main animating forces of the city: the God and the Sea. It complements our ideas of Neopolitan decadence, bright colors and the timeless charm of the place, while white incense evokes sacred secrets.<\/p>\n

Gallivant Naples (Eau de Parfum) was nominated for the Best Perfume Prize at the 2022 Art and Olfaction Awards in the Independent Category.<\/p>\n
