In H\u00c6C DIES Filippo Sorcinelli offers an olfactive interpretation of some passages from Mark\u2019s Gospel. Depicting the women\u2019s astonishment and fear when they realize that the stone of the sepulchre has rolled away. The perfume\u2019s bottle is a representation of the one used to house the aloe and myrrh brought to anoint Jesus\u2019 body – dropped to the ground out of wonder at this miracle. <\/p>\n
The bottle and presentation also recreate the scene of the stone rolled away and the linen cloths that wrapped the figure of a young man dressed in blazing white: The bottle along with the four \u2018wings\u2019 surrounding it are covered with sand to remind us of the steps taken to this place. H\u00c6C DIES Extrait de Parfum\u2019s centrepiece is the cap that mimics the stylistic features of the tombstone that has rolled away. The artwork is covered entirely in a white linen veil, on which the name of the fragrance is reproduced, HAEC DIES. Cloaking all in a sense of spiritual sanctity, the outside of the packaging is covered in the same linen.<\/p>\n
