Extra Virgo Animal Caf\u00e9 Extrait de Parfum is a deep, dark and spicy coffee fragrance with a sensually awaking animalic note. Hypnotically indulgent yet revitalizing and arousing. Coffee, the bush that conquered the world. Animal Cafe is an ode to this indomitable plant and its magic beans. The aphrodisiac potion was created by blending three types of rare coffee absolutes from signature arabica and robusta strains: Colombia, Ethiopia and Indonesia. These precious notes are blended with Extra Virgo\u2019s superb in-house spice accord using a family of spices such as South East Asian clove and Sri Lankan cinnamon. All are embraced by sensual oud from Papua New Guinean and ethically sourced civet paste for added carnal pleasure.<\/p>\n
The extraction of coffee absolute is particularly delicate and true, natural, coffee absolutes are extremely rare. Containing nearly 30% coffee absolutes, Animal Caf\u00e9 has achieved something unique. Coffee beans need proper ageing and roasting in order to extract the right aromas and the search for the best producers was not easy. The result was well worth the time and dedication.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are many legends surrounding the discovery of coffee. What we know is that It magically appeared in the 15th century through Arabian traders who revered its invigorating and aphrodisiac properties. From a precious nutritional resource through trade routes in the unforgiving deserts, it quickly became a delight to be shared and spread to the four corners of the world creating unique flavour profiles.\u201d<\/p>\n
All Extra Virgo perfumes are produced in small batches using only the finest ingredients sourced through extensive research and extreme care. All Extra Virgo perfumes are composed of high grade natural ingredients (70 – 80%). The juice is aged for at least three months before being blended with natural alcohol at a concentration of around 25 – 30%.<\/p>\n
After letting the blend cure for a month, the olfactive potions are bottled by hand into Italian crystal bottles and sealed with the brand\u2019s signature black Carrara marble cap, inlaid with the gilded Extra Virgo monogram.<\/p>\n
