Filippo Sorcinelli Basilica di Assisi (Extrait de Parfum) is inspired by the drawers of the sacristy of the Basilica of San Francesco. A fresh spring breeze blows across the surrounding fields, mingling with the scent of the trees and the frescoes of Giotto and Cimabue on the medieval walls. Filippo Sorcinelli Basilica di Assisi is built on the tension between bright and deep. In the opening of the perfume, citrus slides into the eternal beauty of incense, to give way to the stunning white rose and nurishing dried fruits. Patchouli and labdanum evoke a totally unisex sense, at once modern and ancient, atmospheric and dynamic. In the drydown the fragrance lays on a bed of tender amber, gentle and silent as it blends with tonka bean. A perfume that invites ancient contemplations in a contemporary guise.<\/p>\n
