DS & Durga Burning Barbershop (Eau de Parfum) is inspired by a blackened bottle of a Cologne that somehow survived the burning to the ground of the Curling Bros barbershop. David Moltz, perfumer at DS & Durga, has recreated a scorched dark blend of vintage masculine notes in all its charred glory.<\/p>\n

DS & Durga Burning Barbershop perfume’s sillage and lasting power are quite fantastic; sweet, rubbed peppermint notes blend with salty lime to create a wonderful smoke of nostalgia. Burnt and spicy in every sense. The lavender is a beautiful rich garnish, smoky, hot and sugary, crumbling on the embers of the cologne’s base notes. This is a perfume for skin, not for paper and abstract wandering. The most exquisite soft vanilla dances gently into the smoke, tempering the exaggerations of bitter citrus and metallic pyrotechnics. The night’s black, rubbery breeze permeates the desiccation, as if the skin is shedding soot on the starless sky. The smell of dark wonder.<\/p>\n
