Kitchibe’s signature fragrance combines agarwood, a wood particularly prized for its refined scent, with elements from Japanese and Chinese medicine. The soothing fragrance evokes the image of a traditional Japanese room – serene, refined and peacefully atmospheric.
Top notes of Japanese herb transform the forest-green scent of nature into a calming and restoring room scent. Heart notes of incense and smoke nod to time-honoured tradition and contribute a sense of reassurance and stability to your rooms. Base notes of agarwood and peru balsam add warmth, depth and coziness to this classic, woody room scent. Kitchibe’s Kitchibe Scented Candle is an ideal home scent for any room thanks to its natural, earthy tones and gently seductive fragrance.
Founded in 1808, Shiono Koryo is one of the oldest and most respected perfumeries in Japan’s deep rooted fragrance culture and has been commissioned by Kitchibe to produce unparalleled home perfumes. All candles are made from soya wax which dissolves at an extremely low temperature – preserving the delicate fragrance of the unique home scents. Free of petrol-carbon, soot, carcinogens and pollutants for a clean, long-lasting and stable burn.
Kitchibe’s Scented Candles come in beautifully crafted, unique ceramic holders which can be used as cups when the candle has burned out.
