Description

Neandertal was™ (Eau de Parfum) is an olfactory creation from a future timeline, a fragrant interface where human intuition and synthetic cognition meet. The perfume opens with a burst of light: the tension of yerba maté is radiated by the pure circuits of bergamot, while cardamom and nutmeg evoke a warm, kinetic pulse beneath the surface. As the perfume evolves, it slips into a more ambiguous emotional range. The cool flash of geranium intersects with the warmth of clove and cistus, creating a paradoxical tension that is both ancient and futuristic.

At the heart of was™ tension is Diviniris, a brand new molecule that combines the powdery, familiar feel of iris with woody depth. Its presence creates a soft, luminous veil, a strange texture that seems more computer generated than distilled. As was™ settles, the fragrance deepens and becomes a resonant mood of cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli, and sandalwood. Vanilla, amber, styrax, and musk slip beneath these structures like memories encoded in resin and shadow.

Neandertal was™ becomes a meditation on coexistence: organic warmth intertwines with synthetic possibilities, the past intertwines with speculation. It is not so much a perfume as a signal, an olfactory thought experiment about what the fate of humanity might be.

Neandertal was™ is the richer, deeper scent of the duo – one created by master perfumers, the other by cutting-edge artificial intelligence. We wonder which one is which?

Top notes: yerba mate, bergamot, cardamom, nutmeg
Middle notes: geranium, clove, cistus, diviniris
Heart notes: vanilla, cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli, sandalwood, styrax, amber, musk
