Description

Parfum Prissana Dunhuang (Extrait de Parfum) is an olfactory journey to the heart of the ancient Silk Road, where desert winds blow stories, spices, and sacred smoke across continents. The perfume evokes the nocturnal majesty of a desert oasis with the light of lanterns, resting caravans and the meeting of cultures under the endless stars.

Dunhuang’s opening accord is bright and lively, with the sunny citrus freshness of mandarin, tangerine and kumquat, softened by the ripe sweetness of plum. These notes evoke the first breath of a bustling trading city, where freshness and vitality signal arrival after a long journey through sand and stones.

Dunhuang reveals its soul in the heart notes. Osmanthus absolute blossoms with its characteristic peachy, honeyed warmth, intertwined with jasmine tea and jasmine absolute, creating a delicate balance between calm and sensuality. Magnolia and rose add a soft floral light, while lapsang souchong tea brings a hint of smoke, echoing the flickering campfires of the desert night. The smoke of incense rises gently, reminiscent of Buddhist temples carved into stone, where prayers once mingled with the resinous smoke.

The base note is deep, textured, and deeply grounding. The rich tapestry of spices: cinnamon, cloves, ginger, black pepper, cumin, caraway, and anise—unfolds with warmth and excitement, resting on precious cedar and sandalwood. Patchouli, moss, amber, and civet lend a subtle animalic note of depth, earthiness, and timeless sensuality.

Dunhuang is the essence of connections: the meeting of East and West, the sacred and the earthly, history breathing through scents. It is the scent of memories, travel and shared humanity, etched into the smoke of incense and the desert air.
