Description
Epichron Poudre (Extrait de Parfum) is a crystal-clear iris perfume that floats between eras. It is both perfectly modern and subtly reminiscent of the past, like the study of an elusive presence. At first spray, bergamot and cardamom flash in the cool air like a clear signal, sharp and fleeting, then immediately melt into the powdery depth of orris root. Here, iris is not a nostalgic sweetness, but an abstraction: pale, velvety and deliberate, like skin illuminated by porcelain white light.
Poudre’s floral heart blurs its own contours. Carrot seed and Moroccan rose do not appear as flowers, but as impressions, as if we were seeing the petals through frosted glass. Hedione hums quietly underneath, transforming the perfume into a semi-transparent, almost weightless scent. Cedarwood anchors the moment, lacking any warmth in its structure, its restrained elegance not at all rigid. It evokes an intimate yet distant, tender yet calm feeling.
The base notes of Epichron Poudre unfold slowly, leaving a long, contemplative trail behind them. Patchouli and Haitian vetiver ground the perfume and tie it to the shadows, while incense pulses with a resinous softness and ritualistic silence. Ambrette, ambroxan, heliotrope, and musk merge into a skin-like aura, pure, abstract, and quietly addictive. Feminine yet malleable, Poudre is not easily defined.
A perfume for those who arrive precisely, remain invisible, and leave a lasting impression. Spray it on… take a deep breath… welcome to the daily simulation, where a new identity arrives as a powdery, polished, and beautiful idea.
