NU WILDS Bamboo (Eau de Parfum) won the Best Perfume Prize at the Golden Osmanthus Awards in Shanghai in 2025!

Bamboo is an olfactory portrait of a verdant oriental spring. Inspired by mist-covered hills, winding serpentine roads, and endless bamboo groves undulating beneath a veil of humid air, the fragrance captures a moment of quiet contemplation in nature. Perfumer Juan Liu does not evoke the literal scent of bamboo, but rather captures its spirit: a calm, resilient, and natural elegance. The landscape is vibrant yet serene, where morning light filters through the leaves, and every breath carries freshness, shade, and silence.

NU WILDS Bamboo opens with the radiant scent of fresh green leaves and orange blossom, immediately evoking the dew resting on young foliage after a gentle rain. The green foliage is vibrant but never sharp. It unfolds with a natural softness that feels more like stepping into a living forest than walking through freshly mowed grass. As the fragrance reaches the heart, lily of the valley, geranium, and jasmine step forward, revealing their tender petals. Transparent, delicately spicy, and silky-radiant, they surround the central green accord without overwhelming it. Vetiver and patchouli add an earthy texture and depth as the scent dries down, while cypress and ambergris weave through the base notes, accompanied by dry woods, mineral undertones, and a hint of resin. The result is a calm, elegantly grounded finish that lingers like the memory of a walk through the hills.
