Ici, le pas s’arrête was inspired by the moment when a mountain asks you not to go any further. Its name “Here, the path ends” marks the boundary between movement and stillness, where the mist, the forest, and the silence become tangible. At the heart of the fragrance is Taiwanese cedar incense, which was not merely envisioned as a forest tree but also imbued with the dignity of a temple: protective and meditative. The mood evokes misty mountainsides and that intimate feeling of standing before something ancient, immense, and unknowable.

Terra T Ici, le pas s’arrête opens with aromatic lavandin and clary sage, cool and expansive, like the air flowing through a high forest. As the top notes settle, the fragrance deepens and gains texture: Taiwanese cedar meets dry cypress and the gently smoky richness of cigar tobacco. The fragrance does not become heavy, but rather creates a contrast between resin, bark, shadow, and polished warmth. Sandalwood gradually rounds out the perfume, while white birch lends a pale, mineral dryness, and myrtle creates an uplifting effect. The fragrance’s development is gradually descending from the open mountain air into the dense, living heart of the forest.

TERRA T Ici, le pas s’arrête will appeal primarily to those who are drawn to distinctive woody fragrances and wish to move beyond the well-known combinations of cedar, oud and amber.
