Description
Beaufort London Pyroclasm (Eau de Parfum) is a fire-forged, ocean-carved and myth-enshrouded perfume that captures the raw, elemental power of Northern Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway. A place where land and sea collided with ancient forces to forge black basalt pillars as if hammered by the hand of God. Here, nature’s furnace erupted, carving the coastline into hexagonal shapes – a geological masterpiece born of unimaginable heat and pressure.
Pyroclasm captures the scent of this ancient energy. The opening chords strike like iron on stone: rust, black pepper and the metallic sheen of saffron sharpened by grapefruit, evoking scorched rocks and salty air. As the perfume deepens, it crosses the sea to the shipyards of Clyde, where human hands now echo the power of nature – steel meets flame to rivet together the hulls. Frankincense and elemi smoke rise from the forge like smoke, laced with mineral notes that pulse with the weight of stone and the smell of oxidised metal.
As Beaufort London Pyroclasm dries down, its volcanic legacy subsides. In this dark, luminous perfume, amber, cade, vetiver and Atlas cedar exude the smouldering earth, the charred wooden beams of shipwrecks and the sacred silence of post-eruption. Styrax and cistus ground the scent with shadowy resin and scorching terrain. A tribute to destruction, creation and the permanence of both.
Elemental, intense and mineral – Pyroclasm is a burning landscape, a memory etched in stone.
