Description

Miguel Matos Chypre Caramel Extrait de Parfum is a creamy, sensual chypre perfume in which love and lust combine. Chypre Caramel straddles the line between a classic chypre and soul soothing gourmand. The refreshing opening has notes of spice, fruit and florals, displaying all the trade-mark elements of a rounded chypre. Chypre Caramel is green and earthy thanks to resiny notes of galbanum and labdanum and the oakmoss base has a sophisticated depth that feels reassuringly traditional.

But Chypre Caramel doesn’t stop there: it has the added value of a chypre wrapped in voluptuous caramel. It asks of us the question: in trying times isn’t it better to load on the comfort? Why exercise restraint when sometimes the olfactory result is greater than the sum of its parts? The decadent sweetness in Chypre Caramel has a tenderness that beautifully offsets the grown up eroticism of the perfume’s classic element. Chypre Caramel is rich and creamy, it is alluring and seductive but it is also the kind of fragrance that invites us to cuddle up to it, like the body of a loved one when you need them most.

Top notes: bergamot, mango, galbanum, cumin, cardamom
Heart notes: rose, lily of the valley, jasmine, heliotrope
Base notes: caramel, sandalwood, patchouli, leather, oakmoss, labdanum, civet
