Description

Parfum Prissana Nimitr (Extrait de Parfum) is a fragrant echo of jazz clubs, leather jackets, and cigarette smoke, bringing the refined masculinity of the 80s and 90s to life with incredible fidelity. It feels like stepping into one of Murakami’s short stories: smoky realism with dreamlike melancholy, where every scent carries both attraction and unease.
Nimitr opens with aldehydes, lemon, and mandarin. They are bright, but already colored by the green hues of galbanum. This fresh, citrusy sparkle is like neon light piercing through smoke, a fleeting clarity before the fog. The aromatic heart notes assert themselves almost immediately: lavender, clary sage, bay leaf and cinnamon intertwine with jasmine absolute, gardenia and hyacinth. The effect is complex, both elegant and slightly chaotic, like a layered improvisation in a jazz solo.

Then the perfume reveals its true character: leather. Smoky birch tar, cade and a robust leather accord unfold with patchouli, vetiver and oak. The result is unmistakably retro, rich, animalic and intoxicating. Notes of civet, castoreum, and costus add character and sensuality, while tobacco and incense float like a cloud of smoke above the dimly lit bar. Vanilla absolute softens the edges, lending warmth without taking away from the sharpness of the leather.

As Parfum Prissana Nimitr dries down, a carpet of wood and smoke—sandalwood, styrax, opoponax—blends with the resinous radiance of labdanum. Nimitr does not conform to modern minimalism; it revels in excess, nostalgia, and the aura of timeless masculinity.

Wearing Nimitr is like putting on a well-worn leather jacket and slipping into a forgotten night – sophisticated, mysterious and full of life.
