Un Soir à l’Opéra’s Madame Butterfly Reed Diffuser is inspired by the famed Puccini opera of the same name. The heroine of the opera is the very young Japanese geisha girl, Cio-Cio-san, known to her friends as Butterfly. With the delicate floral scent of cherry blossom, Cio-Cio-san is purity personified. When Cio-Cio-san marries American Naval Officer Pinkerton, soon before he is sent away for military duty and will not return for many years, Butterfly represents a woman who longs for love. The Madame Butterfly Reed Diffuser reflects this gentle attention to beauty with the clean, blossomy scent of sakura and rejuvenating sweet verbena characterizing this feminine, youthfully fragranced candle.

The perfume for the reed diffuser was made by French haute parfumeur, Philippe Poissonnier in Grasse. Depending on the size of the room, the diffuser lasts for at least 2 months. For a more intense olfactory experience, spin the stylish black reeds upside down every now and again and turn your interior space into the luxurious sensory experience of the opera. The Reed Diffuser comes in an elegant box emblazoned with the Un Soir à l’Opéra logo.
