Amer Perfumes Oud de Chypre (Extrait de Parfum) is a stellar reimagining of perfumery traditions, in which one of the most classic structures in the history of perfumes is reborn through exceptional quality oud. Created by Art and Olfaction Awards-winning perfumer Amer Alradhi, the composition bridges eras, cultures, and philosophies, combining the intellectual elegance of traditional chypre with the raw, majestic power of oud.

The opening accord of Oud De Chypre confidently proclaims sophistication. Bergamot flashes brilliantly and confidently, its citrus purity softened by the golden sweetness of apricot. Cardamom adds a gentle aromatic warmth, while neroli lends a refined floral radiance. Olibanum weaves through the top notes like sacred air, hinting at the depth that lies ahead and creating an elevated mood from the very first breath.

At the heart of Amer Perfumes Oud de Chypre, the perfume expands into a luxurious floral panorama. Pink lotus floats serenely, while osmanthus lends its characteristic apricot-velvet warmth. Azerbaijani and Turkish roses unfold in layered richness, accompanied by the creamy radiance of Indian jasmine and tuberose. At the heart of it all is Ko Chang agarwood, not dominant but magically interwoven, presenting oud as a living, breathing element in the chypre structure rather than a decorative topping.

The true innovation of Oud de Chypre is revealed in its base notes. Indian sandalwood and oakmoss form the classic chypre base, while patchouli, vetiver, and iris add texture and depth. Agarwood from various sources – Trat and Sri Lanka – intertwines with amber, vanilla and tonka, creating a velvety resonance. Civet hums softly underneath, lending warmth and quiet sensuality.

Oud de Chypre is not a reinterpretation for the sake of nostalgia. Rather, it is a statement that traditions can evolve – elevated by mastery, vision, and uncompromising ingredients.
