Description
Ataraxia Perfumery Vestibule (Extrait de Parfum) is the olfactory gateway to a hidden world, buried beneath years of repression, anger, and longing. Inspired by the whispers of a vampire’s lair, it captures the instinct to defiantly reject every role forced upon us in life. The dim corridors, antique furniture, worn books, and shadows cast by candlelight create an atmosphere that is both intimate and emotionally raw. The perfume explores the transformation of alienation into identity, where rebellion is not destruction, but a desperate search for life.
Vestibule opens with the intense contrast of dark chocolate and fiery Carolina Reaper, the sweetness immediately balanced by a powerful, piquant mood. The chocolate accord feels melted and bittersweet, pierced by pepper like a sudden rush of adrenaline. The perfume quickly evolves into something far more unusual and atmospheric. Rich almond cake, fiery chili, and sharp wasabi notes create a surreal, gourmand tension, softened by gold dust and earthy turmeric. The delicate scent of ginger beer brings a peculiar, old-fashioned sweetness that softly melts into the perfume’s dusty, nocturnal atmosphere.
Ataraxia Perfumery Vestibule becomes darker and more intimate as the perfume settles. Edamame blends into the creamy scent of cocoa beans and pistachios, creating a textured warmth that seems both edible and mysterious. Beneath the sweetness lie the scents of old books, dry wood, and earthy potatoes, evoking forgotten rooms filled with silence and memories. The extrait concentration and longer maceration give the perfume an extraordinary density, allowing its peculiar, gothic mood to linger on the skin for hours, like a secret that refuses to fade.
