Description
Filippo Sorcinelli’s Dòmm (Extrait de Parfum) was inspired by the drawers in the sacristy of the Duomo in Milan. An infinitely modern contemporary perfume with stunning sillage and staying power. The opening is spicy and woody, the chocolate note appers very soon wrapped in a divine jasmine veil. Totally unisex, and if we may say so: super cool. Filippo Sorcinelli Dòmm perfume is grounded by patchouli, and the drydown is as if this spicy woody chocolatey miracle would never fade away…
It’s called “Aquilonare”, from the late Latin aquilonaris, which means “northern” in English. The ancient sacristy of Milan’s Duomo, the first nucleus of the Duomo, built from 1386, in the heart of the city centre, which is crowded with buildings. It is the first place to be built after the foundation stone of the cathedral. As well as precious marbles, sculptures and frescoes, the sacristy is full of furniture and drawers, and is still used by priests to change before holy ceremonies.
Head notes: virginia cedar wood, black pepper
Heart notes: jasmine, chocolate
Base notes: patchouli, styrax, musk
