Filippo Sorcinelli teams up with 7scents Perfumery to tell a story of love and duty, a romance that ignites like a storm over Carthage, sudden, consuming, and impossibly bright. Two souls, two destinies, eternally bound, now captured and sealed within the twin perfumes that carry the echoes of their shared journey: ENEA E DIDONE.
Didone feels Enea enter her life as though fate itself has struck flint against her heart, while he, weary from exile and oceans, finds in her presence a forbidden calm. Their passion is rich and intoxicating: a meeting of fire and sea, longing and destiny, where every glance tastes of both promise and ruin. It is a love that hangs suspended in the air.
Their paths, however, are drawn across the map of fate. Though Carthage offers them a fragile paradise, Enea carries a divine mandate, as he is destined to found the lineage that will rise as the Roman Empire. For a brief, shimmering moment, they live as though time has surrendered to their love, sharing nights of sanctuary and days filled with the illusion of forever. But the gods reclaim Enea, pulling him toward the future he must create, leaving Didone’s kingdom and heart in ruin. Their story lingers like the final note of a rare perfume.
ENEA – ETERNAL SACRIFICE
Sacrificing the heart to found an Empire. A farewell engraved on the skin, like the wind on bronze.
The Inspiration: Enea escaped the fall of Troy under the gods’ command to found the future Roman line. In Carthage, his love with Queen Didone burned brightly but was shattered when Jupiter ordered him to continue his destined journey. As his ships set sail and Didone’s tragic end unfolded behind him, the future Roman empire began on the heavy foundation of a love sacrificed to fate.
The Perfume: A solemn and structured fragrance, marked by the tension between the fire of war and the coldness of destiny. The skin carries the weight of goodbye and the scent of departed ships. A noble and painful heart looking forward, while the base rises into myth.

The Inspiration: Didone, who fled her brother’s treachery and built Carthage from exile, had long buried her heart in duty and the memory of her murdered husband. When Enea arrived, she opened herself to love again, only to be shattered when he abandoned her to pursue the destiny the gods demanded of him. Her grief ended in a tragic pyre and a curse that would echo through history, marking the terrible price of a love she gave too completely.
The Perfume: A burning and tragic perfume, telling the story of absolute love and its ruin. It is raw flesh, violated incense, tear, and flame. A seductive opening, followed by a wounded and blazing heart, consuming itself in a dark and lingering base.
