Filippo Sorcinelli Santa Casa (Extrait de Parfum) is inspired by the drawers of the sacristy of the Basilica of Loreto. The perfume, just like Loreto, is enjoying the fresh sea breeze, appealing to the secrets of the sacristy. The freshness of orange and bergamot around the incense permeates the opening of the perfume and brings an unadulterated Italian atmosphere. The sea breeze slowly arrives at the heart of Filippo Sorcinelli Santa Casa perfume’s heart and the tobacco leaf tendrils descend, which accompany the fragrance throughout its entire evolution. Towards the end of a very long duration, the perfume arrives on a comfortably delicate soft vanilla musk base, pulsing with a reverent comfort.

The unmistakable fragrance of candles and candle smoke from inside the church of Santa Casa di Loreto, in the Marche region, where Filippo Sorcinelli hails from. Santa Casa is one of the most important Marian sanctuaries and one of the most important and most visited Marian shrines in the Catholic Church. It is made up of three walls, which according to ancient and authentic tradition is the part in front of the cave of Nazareth where the Blessed Virgin Mary was born, the Annunciation lived and recipes the Blessed Virgin Mary. According to devotional tradition, the Holy House was moved from Nazareth to Loreto by angels.
