The three 30 ml perfumes in the faux marble box come in velvet, linen, and wool-silk pouches, echoing the texture of the canvases that inspired them. LA LUMIÈRE (Extrait de Parfum) strikes first, like a dazzling beam of light. Bergamot and clary sage permeate like Caravaggio’s characteristic light, sharp and purifying. But shadows lurk beneath the light with leather, civet, and oakmoss grounding the radiance, creating an elegant and unsettling chiaroscuro effect.

PEINTURE D’HOMME (Extrait de Parfum) is raw flesh and truth itself.
