Filippo Sorcinelli Vulnus (Extrait de Parfum) is a fragrance dedicated to wounds and their transformation. It takes its name from the Latin word *vulnus*, which refers not only to a physical injury but also to the exact point where that injury can become a form of self – knowledge, an encounter with pain, and ultimately a longing for rebirth.

The wound may affect the body, but it can also come through the voice, a name, a reputation, or trust. Violence can be physical, verbal, psychological, or digital; its visible traces may fade, while the invisible ones remain in our inner narrative. The bruise fades. The scar becomes increasingly difficult to erase. Words, humiliation, or public exposure, however, can continue to shape the gaze through which a person recognizes themselves.

Filippo Sorcinelli Vulnus emerges as an olfactory response to this state.
