Ibrahim Fuhaid Orrisilla (Extrait de Parfum) is an elegant tribute to one of the rarest and most sophisticated ingredients in perfumery, the natural orris root. The perfume is built around an extraordinary 15% concentration of orris Pallida and it is like a love letter to powdery textures, vintage glamour and understated sensuality.

Orrisilla’s opening is immediately soft and exciting, with orris root leading the fragrance with its velvety, creamy character, refreshed by the subtle tartness of tangerine and red berries. From the very first whiff, a nostalgic feeling takes over, as if smelling a classic lipstick from a bygone era through a cinematic haze.

At the heart of Ibrahim Fuhaid’s Orrisilla, the powdery notes continue to develop, with traces of mimosa and cocoa pods appearing, adding a subtle floral sweetness and texture to the fragrance. Amber and natural vanilla anchor the iris with a delicately soft and enveloping warmth and a slightly savoury undertone. On the drydown, Virginia cedar, musk and patchouli add a soft woodiness that enhances the composition’s longevity.
