Mendittorosa Rituale Eau de Parfum is an oriental, honey rich perfume with a characteristic powdery green facet and a creamy musk base. The niche scent opens with the bright, astringent sweetness of bergamot and mandarine. A meditation on the ancient rituals of the east, Rituale shines replete and resinous with deep tones of natural beeswax. Heart notes include lustrous, richly spiced wild honey. The nectarous glow of narcissus further illuminates the perfume’s golden glow. Rituale’s pomegranate notes are a complex synthesis of the entire fruit, from the powdery green skin to the tart-yet-sweet seeds. During drydown an expansive amber base sits creamy and musky on the skin.

The mystical landscape delineated by Mendittorosa Rituale Eau de Parfum, unfolds like a golden distillation of time, a thick attar for the soul. This artisan fragrance pays homage to the myths, symbols and religions of ancient cultures and Mendittorosa’s creative director, Stefania Squeglia, specifically conceived Rituale as a soul soothing balsam and ‘personal temple’ for the skin. The world of perfumes is fleeting; scents come and go with the wind, but Rituale Eau de Parfum likes to linger and bless your day, creating a sweet-scented ritual especially for you.

Rituale is part of the ‘Time without Time’ collection, within the ‘Odori d’Anima’ series. The three ‘Time without Time’ scents also include Archetipo and Lacura. The distinctive design of the collection features unique twisted caps designed to represent order from chaos, tangles of protection, knots and roots, loops of time without time. Individually hand-made by Italian artist Mauro Carrazza. Mendittorosa bottles come in a handmade wooden box, which are miniature editions of those used by Tuscan artist, Alessandro Reggioli, to transport his works. The unique boxes are hand-stamped, wrapped in twine and held together with a metal tag.

Heart notes: jasmin, narcissus, rose, red fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry, pomegranate).
Base notes: patchouli, sandalwood, beeswax, amber woods, white musk, hyraceum.
