Michele Marin Essenza E13 Voile Blanc (Extrait de Parfum) is a refined and elegant incense perfume that captures the quiet sensuality of frankincense wafting through the secluded gardens of Florence. The opening fragrance of the “Florence à moi” collection draws inspiration from the nuns of Murate and their secluded world along the banks of the Arno: evening prayers, weathered stone, hidden flowers, and the air gently rippling over the river. There is something deeply intimate about this Florentine vision, where beauty unfolds slowly, hidden from the city’s restless gaze. The perfume gives texture to this silence, moving between cool shadows and the gentle warmth of the skin.

Voile Blanc opens with an elemental, radiant, balmy warmth, interwoven with the straight, aromatic presence of resinous frankincense and cypress. In the heart notes, rose and iris bloom in the shadow of frankincense, their delicacy underscored by the earthy character of the roots. Galbanum evokes the green scent of damp vegetation, while cinnamon adds a hint of spice. As the fragrance dries down, cedar, patchouli, and birch evoke the somber atmosphere of weathered wood and ancient walls.
