Milano Fragranze Diurno Eau de Parfum is a timeless fougere livened up by a high-spirited hint of amaretto. Inspired by a trip to Milan’s ancient thermal baths, Diurno is about communing with age-old traditions. Yet the name Diurno (‘daytime’ in Italian) suggests a carpe-diem style irreverent nowness! First spray certainly has seize-the-moment vibes thanks to the sweet, nutty warmth emanating from a very apparent blast of almondy amaretto – pleasurably smooth and delightfully easy to love!

Like any trip to a classical bath house, Milano Fragranze Diurno embraces the heady aromas that hang heavy in thermal air. Amaretto’s balmy veil gives way to the works of the Goddess Hygieia as lush green herbal notes take centre stage. This is time for serious healing! A cleansing infusion of aromatic sage and lavender float in unison, while (true to a classic fougere), lavender and geranium swirl around the fragrant fulcrum in Diurno’s heart.

A clean and refreshing base centres around a moisture laden moss accord while notes of fir channel the wonderful balsamic aromas of a sauna. All the while, the sweet profusion of amaretto playfully pervades Diurno, taking it away from your everyday fougere and reminding us of the joys of life lived in the moment.

Heart notes: sage, bourbon geranium from Madagascar
Base notes: fir balsam absolute, bourbon vetiver from Madagascar, moss accord
