Neandertal Us Eau de Parfum is a spicy, smoky, balsamic perfume celebrating the greens and woods which have sustained mankind throughout the ages. Trees, roots, plants and flowers have always formed a unifying olfactory profile across many cultures through human history and Us Eau de Parfum is an ode to all that which connects. The opening is an energizing hit of citrus fruit and balsamic spices as bergamot and orange blend with pink and black pepper as well as aromatic elemi. The initial notes have a dark purity which hint at ancient nourishment. The mild camphor tones of eucalyptus blend with a terpenic woody note, creating a medicinal accord in line with the healing remedies of pre-modern societies. At its heart Neandertal Us blooms with floral richness, although this is laced with plumes of ritual smoke, revealing something darker and innately comforting. The base is dense with symbolic myrrh, sandalwood and oud revealing a drydown composed of scents which seem universal to all the world’s traditional belief systems. The earthy tones of labdanum, vetiver and musk on the other hand remind us that we are all subsumed into the unifying power of nature.

Neandertal Us Eau de Parfum invites self-reflection: What makes us who we are? What cultural patterns did we create for ourselves over the course of history? Neandertal Us is a universal celebration of life; a distillation of our collective journey to what we know now as modern humans. A familiar yet contemporary fragrance, this avant-garde arrangement balances spices, greens and fruits foraged from natural environments used throughout history for ceremonies, remedies, culinary purposes and perfumery. Neanderthal Us Eau de Parfum comes in a crystalline glass bottle created using state-of-the-art laser 3D scanning and printing technology.
