Description

Parfum Prissana Karuna (Extrait de Parfum) is woven from one of humanity’s most beautiful gifts: kindness. Named after the Thai word “karuna”—which means compassion, kindness, and generosity—the perfume is a memory of happiness preserved in scent. Inspired by the joyous celebration of Songkran, Thailand’s traditional New Year festival, it evokes a world filled with laughter, family gatherings, temple visits, and the simple happiness found in the company of people who care for one another. It captures the feeling of a fresh start, of leaving yesterday’s burdens behind and embracing the future with gratitude, optimism, and love.

Karuna opens with radiant mandarin and sparkling aldehydes, highlighted by the cooling freshness of camphor and aromatic herbs. Moments later, the fragrance bursts into a vibrant bloom. The white petals of jasmine sambac, cananga, tuberose, champaca, bulletwood flower, rose, orange blossom, and ylang-ylang weave together in a rich tapestry. Their creamy sweetness is enhanced by golden honey, illuminated by exotic spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, turmeric, and nutmeg, creating a festive and friendly atmosphere. Each note seems to carry the spirit of generosity shared among family, friends, and acquaintances during Songkran.

At the heart of Parfum Prissana Karuna, sacred incense rises. It is embraced by a resinous blend of myrrh, styrax, opoponax, and benzoin, permeating the precious notes of sandalwood, rosewood, ebony, patchouli, and moss. Civet adds warmth and a subtle allure to the composition. Soothing and resonant, Karuna is an olfactory reminder that kindness, like happiness, is truly valuable when shared with others.
