Parfum Prissana L’Ombre D’Hier (Extrait de Parfum) is the fragrance of shadows, memories, and desires. Like a whispered question drifting through an endless stream of memories. The haunting ambiguity of the film Last Year in Marienbad inspired this perfume, which captures the tension between memory and fiction, presence and absence.

L’Ombre D’Hier opens with a chiaroscuro effect, a very special interplay between light and shadow. Aldehydes sparkle like the light of a chandelier on polished marble. Cool and fleeting, they disappear as quickly as they appeared. Bergamot flashes briefly, like a spark in the shadows. Leather and civet draw you in, tangible and intimate, like a sensual imprint that perhaps reminds you of someone. Musk settles close to the skin, soft and alluring, like a secret in the midnight silence.

In Parfum Prissana L’Ombre D’Hier incense rises in faint spirals, solemn and meditative, while the flash of basil is unexpected, like a purity that flashes in a blurred dream. Then the flowers appear, but more as an echo. The powdery and serious, cool elegance of orris follows the fragile system of memory. Geranium and lavender lend a restrained sophistication, reflected and doubled, like endless reflections in a salon. Jasmine absolute spreads like a longing floating in the warm night air.

Spices whisper beneath the surface: coriander and clove shine softly; cumin seed and carnation pulsate with restrained warmth. Gestures of closeness that never quite materialize. Vetiver and patchouli root the perfume with earthy seriousness, while champaca adds a velvety, golden undertone, as if twilight itself had a scent.

L’Ombre D’Hier is not linear, it revolves in circles, waits, then returns. Mysterious, melancholic and delicately composed, like the shadow of yesterday. Elusive, seductive and forever leaving you in uncertainty.
