Rania J Samar Kand (Extrait de Parfum) is a sumptuous floral-amber fragrance inspired by Samarkand, the legendary city on the Silk Road where cultures, languages, beliefs, and precious goods have converged for centuries. Rania Jouaneh does not view the city as an exotic postcard, but rather as a symbol of mutual exchange: Persian, Central Asian, Chinese, Indian, Arab, and European influences crossed paths here and enriched one another. Samar Kand transforms this concept into something deeply tangible and rich. Golden flowers, ripe fruits, polished woods, soft velour, and the warmth of amber layer upon one another, just like the fabrics and treasures collected during a long journey. It is a sensual, sophisticated, and richly textured fragrance, not one that is flashy for its own sake or blindly follows modern trends.

Samar Kand opens the perfume with the radiant freshness of sweet orange and bergamot, before the scent quickly becomes more sensual.
