Renier Perfumes Musky Rain Extrait de Parfum is a narcotic musk fragrance showered in rich narcissus and tropical florals – showcasing how carnally erotic this classic perfume genre can be. Musky Rain is fascinatingly far removed from the typical fantasy musk notes that are creamy, sweet and vanilla-toned. Instead it showcases the feral, intense and emotional language of musk as found in a wild, forested habitat. A scent for lovers of true intimacy!
Top notes have refreshing vibrancy thanks to bergamot and lychee wrapped in a hint of spicy rose. It doesn’t take long, though, for the tropical floral body to make its presence known in the form of narcissus absolute. It pulsates a dark viscous glow cut with a tangy liquidity, like the textural interplay between sheen and shadow on burnished gold. While narcissus is the protagonist of the journey, jasmine helps sweeten this dark flower and ylang-ylang channels the moist, rain-slicked exoticness of tropical fruits.

As Renier Perfumes Musky Rain slinks back and settles on the skin, Indian Mysore sandalwood brings creaminess and sensuality to the fragrance. Base notes of musks and ambers teamed with animalic civet hum with attractive warmth. An olfactory experience of contrasts and surprises that results in a uniquely intimate niche fragrance – the perfume of secret lovers!
