Soul Artisan Smoke & Song (Extrait de Parfum) is a smoky-woody perfume inspired by the tragedy of Erich Maria Remarque’s “All Quiet on the Western Front”, a novel about the human cost of war. The perfume does not depict the conflict itself, but rather the silence that follows, that eerie stillness when the smoke clears, the sounds fade, and memory remains the sole witness. A meditation on resilience, loss, and the fragile peace that emerges after destruction.

Smoke & Song opens with a distinctive veil of smoke, immediately softened by aromatic cannabis and enlivened by a sharp burst of grapefruit. Eucalyptus brings a cool, almost medicinal freshness, while nutmeg lends a gentle warmth that evokes the air lingering after a distant fire. As the fragrance unfolds, incense rises alongside smoky guaiac wood, forming a dark yet elegant heart note. Cedarwood reinforces the woody structure, while earthy patchouli adds a quiet depth, so the fragrance evokes a sense of grounded calm rather than dramatic intensity.
