Voyager x Taigrance Taigransu (Eau de Parfum) is a rich, pineapple pastry perfume that captures the warmth, sweetness, and sensual experience of discovering Taiwanese cuisine. Created by perfumer Nutt Wesshasartar, the fragrance was born from the Voyager concept, which focuses on transforming meaningful experiences into fragrances. While searching for something that was unmistakably connected to Taiwan, Nutt wandered through the bustling streets of Ximending, where markets, street food, and small shops are an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity. There, he encountered the divine Taiwanese pineapple pastry and found his inspiration: a golden-brown, flaky pastry whose buttery, slightly salty dough envelops an intensely sweet-and-tart pineapple filling. Taigransu doesn’t simply recreate a dessert; it preserves the joy of discovery. That moment when flavor, place, and memory become inseparable.

Taigransu opens with pineapple and sweet orange; its immediate, radiant, juicy, and candied scent balances the tropical sweetness with an alluring tart sparkle. As the perfume unfolds, the pastry takes center stage. Butter and milk create a rich, creamy texture, while burnt sugar and corn syrup evoke the caramelized, lightly toasted sweetness of freshly baked pastry. The gourmand heart note is abundant and indulgent, without ever becoming merely gourmand. Gradually, cashmere and sandalwood introduce a smoother, more contemporary warmth, lending structure and an almost fabric-like softness to the fragrance. Vanilla remains delightful also during the drydown, bridging the creamy pastry accord with the woody notes beneath.
