Dan Lo Island Crumb (Eau de Parfum) is a mouthwatering, vibrant portrayal of the pineapple cake beloved by Taiwanese people, transformed into a fragrance with almost edible realism. Created by perfumer Kaiwei Hsieh, the fragrance captures the contrast that lies at the heart of the traditional cake: a juicy, sweet-and-tart pineapple filling encased in a buttery, crumbly, and delicately sweet pastry.

In the opening of Island Crumb, an immediate burst of Golden Diamond pineapple is juicy, sun-ripened, and mouthwatering. Just a touch tart enough to keep its sweetness vibrant. Sweet orange adds a sparkling citrus freshness, making the fruits seem as though they were just cut. Almost immediately, a rich, creamy butter note begins to rise in the background, giving Island Crumb its unmistakable, cake-like texture: warm, golden, crumbly, and indulgent.

Dan Lo Island Crumb’s drydown brings the pineapple rounder and more succulent, evolving from fresh fruit toward a jam-like richness that is almost reminiscent of peach. Vanilla melts into the buttery base, smoothing out the fragrance without making it heavy or cloying. The result is a gourmand fragrance that feels full-bodied and delicious, yet is incredibly radiant.

The scent of Island Crumb is as if sunlight were trapped inside a freshly baked pastry: tropical, buttery, juicy, and irresistible, while the fruit always remains the focal point. Playful and nostalgic, yet an infinitely sophisticated fragrance.
