Extra Virgo Cacao Ritual Extrait de Parfum is an arousing, highly sensual potion showcasing the darkest, rawest, most elegant side of cacao. Cacao, the food of the gods, is an ancient and sacred tree of Central and South America that has long been revered as the holiest plant available only to the most high ranking nobility and the gods themselves. Extra Virgo Cacao Ritual is an ode to the ancient practice of the same name in which the power of the cacao bean is harnessed to reveal its sweet, aphrodisiac and heart opening properties.

Extra Virgo’s all natural cacao absolute comes from three different Central American heirloom strains: Colombia, Honduras and Nicaragua. These rare absolutes have the sensually warming aroma of roasted cocoa beans – melting, voluptuous and sophisticated. The cacao notes entwine with a small-batch Moroccan jasmine absolute, which twinkles like stars in the dark night sky. The effect is sweet and ethereal, forming a union of darkness and light – a narcotic dance under the stars. Extra Virgo’s signature melange of spices such as Sri Lankan cinnamon, Indonesian cloves blended with vintage civet and castoreum exudes a unique sensuality. Sweet, dark, spicy, Cacao Ritual Extrait de Parfum is just like the embrace of two lovers in the night.

“Thanks to some of the incredible adventures he found himself in, Extra Virgo founder and creative director Alex Postiglione Prince Ne Min Gy of Limbin had the privilege of discovering the magic of Cacao, the sweet mother plant. He had always known chocolate, but discovering real cacao and having the honour of being guided by its magic through cacao ceremonies was a wholly different experience. Add to that the ancient knowledge of the elders who guard its secrets and cacao is a plant with a timeless quality. With contemporary awareness of cacao growing, Extra Virgo Cacao Ritual is a perfect medium for discovering its healing, arousing and enlightening properties. A simple spray of this olfactive elixir and you can directly connect with LOVE.”

All Extra Virgo perfumes are produced in small batches using only the finest ingredients sourced through extensive research and extreme care. All Extra Virgo perfumes are composed of high grade natural ingredients (70 – 80%). The juice is aged for at least three months before being blended with natural alcohol at a concentration of around 25 – 30%.

After letting the blend cure for a month, the olfactive potions are bottled by hand into Italian crystal bottles and sealed with the brand’s signature black Carrara marble cap, inlaid with the gilded Extra Virgo monogram.
