House Of Matriarch Mavyn (Eau de Parfum) is a perfumed ode to nature’s most elusive flower, the gardenia. The lush Colombian gardenia rises from the scent of Tahitian black pearls and unfolds with a radiance that evokes a feeling of vitality on the skin, intensifying and breathing throughout each phase of its drydown. This is not a clever illusion or a laboratory trick – this is gardenia in its true, radiant form.

Gardenia has long been one of the most sought-after flowers in perfumery, but it has rarely been captured in full bloom. With Mavyn, Christi Meshell turns to nature to answer this lifelong quest. At the heart of the perfume is a handcrafted enfleurage made from gardenias hand-tended in a greenhouse in Colombia, South America. It is the result of patience, respect, and expertise that honors the natural majesty of the flower.

House Of Matriarch Mavyn opens with creamy Colombian gardenia and magnolia, delicately softened by herbal notes of dong quai. As the perfume deepens, jasmine grandiflora blooms alongside black cohosh and genêt, weaving a medieval tapestry of herbs and flowers that is both nourishing and powerful. In the base notes, oakmoss, angelica root, and noble woods ground the composition, while rare New Zealand ambergris lends a soft, sensual vibration that lingers close to the skin.

Mavyn possesses a special and unique magic – creating an intimate connection with Mother Nature. This is not an imaginary gardenia, but a real one: rich, enchanting, and alive.
