Meo Fusciuni L’Oblio Extrait de Parfum is a soft woody musk scent which celebrates the quiet serenity of oblivion. This meditative niche perfume opens bright and clear with a fleeting hint of frankincese succumbing to the clarifying sour notes of mate. L’Oblio’s initial energy ebbs into an expansive olfactory flow which quietly hums along revealing swathes of tobacco along its banks. The scent’s heart is as still as oblivion itself; a distanced note of Immortelle offers a wan glow of floral sweetness, while skin hugging iris floats in and out of olfactive consciousness. L’oblio is a sensitive, spiritual fragrance buoyed up by a dusty frame of sacred woods and musks. The airy base has a powderiness which almost sublimates on the skin, but the earthiness of oakmoss anchors the drydown just enough to settle down into an intimate perfumed haze.

The third and last chapter of the “Mystic Trilogy”, Meo Fusciuni L’Oblio Extrait de Parfum celebrates equilibrium over ostentation on its obscure quest to find a different sort of spirituality. As a premium quality Extrait de Parfum, L’Oblio has a high concentration of fragrance compounds, endowing the scent with a quiet confidence that almost floats next to the skin. As creative director and nose behind Meo Fusciuni, Giuseppe Imprezzabile engaged on a journey of spiritual and sensory recollection through Cambodia and along the Mekong Delta in order to arrive at this scent. In these far away places he not only discovered the highest quality raw materials, but a new definition for oblivion – finding solace through solitude and salvation in the beauty of nothingness.
