Milano Fragranze Cortile Eau de Parfum is a sensual and narcotic tuberose and jasmine with a whiff of coffee. Meaning ‘courtyard’ in Italian, Cortile is a stolen moment captured in scent. It is hot summer and all doors open out onto the hushed ballatoio (balconied walkways) and not even the stillest afternoon air betrays the lovers kissing in the shade. In the richest houses and those of the working class alike jasmine in full bloom smells the same – the democratizing aroma of nature’s most decadent flower.

Alongside the carnal notes of intense white florals is the smell of pure pleasure as every mamma in every house enjoys her evening coffee. This intimate moment is accompanied by the comforting ashen texture of smooth suede telling us that, for now, life is beautiful.
