Description

Senyokô Kujira Densetsu (Eau de Parfum) is a perfume that seems less like a fragrance and more like a slow, meditative dive into the depths. Inspired by a legend carried by the tide, it draws its soul from the solemn majesty of the whale’s entire life cycle. On its final journey, the whale becomes an eternal refuge, nourishing the depths of the ocean with its quiet generosity. This fragrance is a tribute to the life and final journey of the whale: it celebrates resilience, sacrifice, and the intertwining of all parts of life, both on the surface and in the depths.

Kujira Densetsu opens with a refreshing, green salty sparkle from the first breath: shiso and sea fennel infuse the air with mineral freshness, while timur pepper adds a sparkling flavor. There is a quiet austerity to the perfume, softened by Japanese boxwood, as if the sunlight were gently fading beneath the foaming waves.

True poetry flows from the heart of Senyoko Kujira Densetsu. Oarweed absolute, sugar kelp, and red plant notes unfold in layered currents, both earthy and marine. Mimosa lends a momentary, golden softness, while labrador tea and coleus root ground the composition with introspective, root-like calm. This phase is full of life, blooming in the dark, echoing the idea that life may spring also from passing away.

Kujira Densetsu is truly a perfume that touches the heart. Ambergris and sea moss pulsate with quiet warmth, embraced by violet leaves and patchouli. Prachin oud adds depth without weighing it down. The perfume remains like the depths of the ocean: solemn, generous, and eternal. It is a scent of respect, reminding us that even in the depths, something sacred may dwell.
