Stora Skuggan Pine earned a nomination for the Best Perfume Prize at the Art and Olfaction Awards in Los Angeles in the Artisan Category.

Stora Skuggan Pine (Eau de Parfum) is the Swedish perfume house’s 8th fragrance and a departure from the brand’s conceptual myths. This fragrant story focuses on a single note. In perfumery, this type of fragrance is called soliflore, a name derived from a type of flower vase designed to hold just a single flower.

In this case… it’s a giant tree vase. Pines are the largest living creatures on the planet in terms of mass. Reaching heights of up to 100 metres, they are among the tallest organisms. Methuselah, a 4.856-year-old bristlecone pine in the White Mountains, is the oldest known living plant in the world, while the Old Tjikko spruce in Dalarna, Sweden, has a clonal root system twice as old. The first pines evolved more than 300 million years ago, predating both dinosaurs and the Pole Star.

Stora Skuggan Pine perfume’s concept is minimal, and the fragrance is maximal and designed to evoke every aspect of the Pine, from the fresh pine shoots to the sweet and sacred sap. From the dry, woody scent of bark and dead pine needles that envelop the earthy forest floor.

    Először egy finom fenyő benyomás jött….nagyon tetszett.
    Otthoni próba megosztó volt,igaz meleg nyári napon volt a próbálkozás. Ugy gondoltam ez nem az én illatom.
    De láss csodát 11-20 fok közt kitűnően működik,ha egy kis krémesen friss fenyőerdőre vágysz
