Beaufort London Cape Wrath is a storm in a perfume bottle, a relentless ode to Britain’s far northwest frontier, where land and sea clash mercilessly with the raw power of the elements. The avant-garde composition conveys the primal power of the Atlantic as it lashes the jagged shoreline, evoking a world that is windswept, wild and elemental.

Cape Wrath opens with a ripple of tension: rose pepper crackles like sea spray against cold stone, while elemi and galbanum cut through the air with a green, resinous bite. Angelica gives an edgy undertone, spicy and unsettling. Sacred smoke rises at the heart of the perfume: incense and mastic resin mingle with the metallic edge of geranium, evoking the spirit of a chapel lost in a storm on the edge of a cliff. But it is the base that finally anchors the olfactive journey. Amber and ambrette lend a salty sensuality, while vetiver, oakmoss absolute and seaweed create a salty, earthy accord that clings like wet wool in a sea breeze.
