Istituto dell’Odore Hotel Vanilla (Extrait de Parfum) explores the world of vanilla through the warmth of human closeness and the solitude that follows. Its inspiration is rooted in the cinematic world of David Lynch’s series “Twin Peaks,” where hotel rooms, nighttime encounters, and restless intimacy reign. Here, an embrace lives on as a scent carried home before dawn: something soothing, intimate, and unforgettable. Vanilla becomes the thread connecting desire and longing, preserving the mood of the encounter after silence has fallen in the room.

Hotel Vanilla opens with pink pepper, orange, coffee, and saffron, they create a vibrant interplay of radiance, bitterness, and spiciness. Cocoa and iris lend a darker, powdery texture, while rose, jasmine, and osmanthus complement Suederal’s soft, skin-like impression with floral richness. Davana and indole deepen the composition’s intimate character. Vanilla absolute and Tahitian vanilla form the emotional core of the fragrance, supported by tobacco, oud, benzoin, patchouli, and tonka. Base notes of cashmeran, javanol, and amber extend the woody warmth, creating an atmosphere in which sweetness is inextricably intertwined with skin, fabrics, and the traces people leave behind.
