Papillon Artisan Perfumes Salome Eau de Parfum is a heady mix of decadent florals and lusty animalics. An explosive bouquet of indolic jasmine sets a sensual opening scene. A seductive veil of Turkish rose and carnation rests upon an almost indecent display of castoream, hyraceum and musks. Cumin adds an alluringly deep aroma of sensual embodiment – sweet, sweaty loins engaged in carnal pleasure. This niche scent’s reputation precedes itself among lovers of erotically charged oriental scents. An elegant balance of materials from expert nose, Liz Moores, prevents the perfume from becoming aggressively seductive, meaning Salome wearers make themselves known in a social setting, rather than earning themselves a reputation.

Salome’s velvety animalic facets and rich, powdery florals give it a vintage and honeyed feel, the kind of scent worn with furs by 1920s flappers or early Hollywood femme fatals.
