Scent Trunk Stroopwafel Eau de Parfum is a delicious gourmand fragrance for cozy, yet sophisticated moments. With richly textured notes of cookies and coffee melting into a smooth silhouette of woods and florals. As the name suggests, Stroopwafel is inspired by the disc-shaped Dutch wafer of the same name with its deliciously sweet griddled pastry exterior and chewy caramel core.

Scent Trunk Stroopwafel is as delectable as the original, yet the subtle addition of a ‘tulip’ accord brings a hint of fresh florality that makes this a sophisticated perfume for lovers of rich, comforting ambers. Sweet vanilla is key to Stroopwafel’s ‘gezellig’ atmosphere, while the faintest whiff of wood and smoke sets the tone of wellbeing that comes from sharing precious time with loved ones over a coffee in convivial spaces.

“Gezellig” is a very Dutch concept, which means an inviting and friendly ambiance, and doesn’t really have an English-language equivalent word. The fragrance is inspired by my years living in Amsterdam, and I’m picturing enjoying coffee and stroopwafels in a 17th century canal house. There are tulips on the table and the old oakwood floors have just been polished. There’s a cool North Sea breeze outside, but inside it’s cozy and warm in front of the fireplace.” Perfumer, Ineke Rühland
