Acampora Freak Chic Pure Essence an opulent floral chypre with seduction as its main purpose. The flirtatious floral opening is rose, made intense and unapologetic. There is energy and life pulsating through the arrangement with fruit accords of apple, bergamot, passion fruit, mandarin and raspberry, spiced and refreshed with the zing of ginger. The full-bodied character of the perfume oil is reinforced by the strength of woods and the sexy animalic tones of warm musks and honeyed beeswax. Freak Chic is a vibrant, pulsating anthem with rose-tinted elegance at its core.

Acampora Freak Chic Pure Essence is inspired by the song ‘Le Freak’ by Chic. The 1978 song references New York’s most iconic club, Studio 54, where glamorous celebrities rubbed shoulders with the avant-garde art and intellectual scene. Acampora’s Studio 54 collection is a perfumed love letter to the same 70s decadence, with its burgeoning disco scene, drugs, alcohol and rampant sex. Studio 54 has personal connections to the brand too, as Acampora founder, Bruno Acampora, was a regular at the club. Known for his elegant style and suave dancing, Bruno was even immortalised in a photo series by Andy Warhol.
